Using the soil tester is straightforward. First, remove the red cap from the end of the probe and open the tester. Second, insert the probe into the soil 3-5 inches. Then, read the data for about 10 seconds, and the information will be displayed on the monitor. Finally, remove the probe from the soil after each use and wipe it clean.

It is important to note that the soil tester should not be forced into very hard soil, left in the soil for an extended period, or used to test water or other liquids. The soil tester is designed solely for testing soil, and the probe should be wiped clean after each use.
